Pottery and Painting

This beginning course introduces students to the basics of throwing. Learn to wedge clay, throw cylinders, bowls, trim and glaze. There will be instructor demonstrations and hands on individual assistance as needed. Please bring an old kitchen towel the first night. Clay included. Wednesdays 9 am-12 pm 10/11-12/6 no class 11/22

This class offers guided painting instruction for beginners. In depth step by step structured learning. Drawing is minimal to give time to have fun with painting. Traditional brush techniques will be learned. Students are encouraged to relax and “just go for it!” The final lesson is student generated. $280

Now that you know the basics of the wheel you are ready to build upon your beginning skills with new challenges. Refine your mug-making skills, or create a matching set of bowls. Demonstrations will include increasing the amount of clay you use, and practicing creating intentionally. There will also be more in-depth demonstrations of decorations utilizing slips, and glazes. Please bring an old kitchen towel the first night. $310

Saturdays, 9/23 - 10/14, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

This class includes using value to draw still life. Learn about how color affects feelings. Students will create radial design using repeating patterns.
This is a 4 week program.

Tweens Jewely

Saturdays, 9/23 - 10/14, 3:00 pm- 4:00 pm

In this class create dangle and post earrings. Use polymer clay to create your own beads. Create stretchy beaded bracelets and more. You will use clay to make ceramic pendants.

This is a 4 week program covering a variety of media.
Cost per student $110, $95 each if more than one child per household. Supplies included.

Members have access to the studio 3 days a week Monday- Saturday 8 am-10 pm on dates there are no classes or workshops. Times could work around classes and workshops. There is a $2.50 per pound firing fee.

This workshop is a perfect way to spend quality time together with someone special.: spouse, sibling, special friend, parent and child over 10 years. Policies

Payments

Classes must have a minimum of 5 participants in order to run as scheduled, otherwise left to the discretion of the instructor. It is preferred that full payment for programs, classes and workshops are expected to be made to Rotondi Creations (Rose VanTyne) prior to the start date. PayPal, check, charge or cash.

Participants will not be considered registered until payment has been made. A full refund will be given if a class is canceled.


Refunds

Refunds will be given up to one week before the start date.

A 50% refund will be given the week before, and up to the day before the start date.

After the start date there will be no refunds.
